Factory 500 and Patron members, grab a drink and join us for a virtual tour and conversation with Pittsburgh sculptor, former Mattress Factory artist-in-residence and Factory 500 member, Atticus Adams! Join Adams as he takes us on a tour of his studio, discusses his practice and shows us what he is working on at the moment.
Atticus Adams’ sculptural work embodies the transformative power of art to create beauty, meaning, and emotional impact from industrial materials. Using aluminum, bronze, copper, and stainless-steel mesh—generally found in screen doors/windows and filters—inspired by memories, he creates abstract fine art pieces, installations, sets and costumes which sometimes resemble flowers, clouds, and other natural phenomena.
